Under Armour designed special high-tech outfits specifically intended for U.S. Olympic athletes to perform better in speedskating. Unfortunately, the United State's performance has underwhelmed.
While American officials are trying to determine the cause of such a disappointing showing, sources are citing the suits as the cause of the poop performance. There is allegedly some kind of design flaw in the suits. Supposedly, the suits are allowing air to enter where it shouldn't. Additionally, the skaters are having a difficult time keeping correct speed skating form while wearing the suits. This technologically advanced, physics-driven design has done the opposite of what it is supposed to do.
As an attorney, it makes me wonder if any lawsuits are going to be filed. The contract probably addresses this kind of issue. Besides, the lawyer for Under Armour has probably already thought up numerous defenses.
